What Date Is 3 Days From Today?

Three days is a common legal window. In the US, the FTC's Cooling-Off Rule lets you cancel many door-to-door sales over $25 until midnight of the third business day after the sale, so check the business-day date above rather than the calendar date.

It's also the classic 72-hour period used for returns on some online marketplaces and for "reply within three days" requests at work.

3 days is 3 days.

That's 72 hours, or 4,320 minutes.

Counting 3 calendar days includes weekends. For a deadline in working days, use the business-day date above, which skips Saturdays and Sundays but not public holidays.

Put your finger on today and count 3 squares to the right, wrapping to the next row at the end of the week. Don't count today itself.

A quick check: 3 days from today always falls 3 weekdays after today's. The full weeks cancel out, so only the leftover 3 days move the weekday.
