How Many Days Until Valentine's Day?
When is Valentine's Day?
Valentine's Day is February 14 every year.
Valentine's Day is named after Saint Valentine and became associated with romantic love in the Middle Ages. People exchange cards, flowers, and chocolates, and it's one of the busiest days of the year for restaurants and florists.

How Valentine's Day became about love
Several early Christian martyrs were named Valentine, and little is known for certain about them. The link with romance appears in the 1300s, in a poem by Geoffrey Chaucer about birds choosing their mates on Saint Valentine's day.
Handwritten love notes became popular in 18th-century England, and printed cards took over in the 1800s. In Japan and South Korea, women traditionally give chocolate on February 14 and men return the gift a month later, on White Day.
